Every child in grades 1-8 is welcome to participate in private Art lessons where being the most talented is not a prerequisite; just bring a desire and join the fun! Whitney Salie's small class size of 6-8 students allows for close, personal instruction while being exposed to the creative process through drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, and sculpture. Classes for the year meet 45 minutes weekly during the school day at a non-academic hour and include all materials and supplies. A.C.S offers a non-fee based Art class as an elective for High School credit. Several of Whitney's students go on to pursue art as a career study at colleges and universities.
The fee for Art lessons is $45.00/mo. for the 2011-2012 school year.
