
Whitney Salie grew up in North Carolina. After studying Communication Arts and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University, she moved to Georgia and for the next 8 years was an instructor of Illustration and Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Atlanta. In 1995 while raising her family, she designed the Elementary Art program for a county school system in Georgia where she taught for the next several years. Currently, she is the Art Instructor at Athens Christian School where she has taught grades K-12 for over 20 years.
Whitney has always maintained a freelance portfolio. Her commissioned works range from whimsical to realistic. Her artistic style changes to satisfy the application and client need.
Whitney's newest endeavor, Forever Bouquet, replicates bridal flowers to provide a uniquely artistic remembrance of the bride's special day.
